St James' church in Stirchley
A building of two halves. The larger brick-built section with the tower was added in the early 19th century to the much older 12th century stone chancel, and partially enclosing other parts of a similar age. The whole place was Grade I listed https://britishlistedbuildings.co.uk/101352002-church-of-st-james-stirchley-and-brookside#.YSP1DI5KjIU & https://historicengland.org.uk/listing/the-list/list-entry/1352002 in 1983. The church/graveyard are also recorded as a Scheduled (Ancient) Monument, with a number of medieval graves in the enclosure.
