Sign on railway bridge over Northumberland Road
This sign is located on the inside wall of the railway bridge which crosses Northumberland Road. Sheilfield Terrace is crossed by a different span but, judging by this sign is treat as the same bridge for Network Rail purposes. The sign gives the bridges identifying code (ECM7-191) and location and a number to call should a problem arise with the bridge.

Northumberland Road goes under ECML
The East Coast Main Line makes a large curve as it crosses the Royal Border Bridge which can just be seen through the nearer arch.

Offices off Northumberland Road
This office is recently converted from a former drive through car wash which was part of a national chain until its closure. A similar car wash in its operational guise can be seen in Image Since it ceased operation it external colour has been toned and car washing equipment has (presumably) been removed. It is now home to a business operating in the area of health and safety consulting.
