Beach, Porlock Weir
Margaret Drabble's favourite beach, apparently http://www.theguardian.com/travel/2013/aug/16/margaret-drabble-porlock-weir-beach-somerset . On a day like this, wet and windy, it's dramatic, at least.

Cottages at Porlock Weir
This shows how the village has little room to breathe on the sea front, and after one row of houses further up the hillside the woodland of Worthy Wood soon takes over on the steeper slopes. Just two and a bit kilometres in that direction and the land has risen to 436 metres above sea level.

Cottages at Porlock Weir
The road is called Dunster Steep and at the time of my visit was the venue for a gathering of 1930s and 40s MG sports cars. It was a wonderful sight to see them all lined up in the car park nearby.
