You can remain anonymous and your information may save a life. Any information, no matter how small may help to build the bigger picture and inform our officers of the areas to patrol and target. Response (2 Dec 2025)We have been visiting all the pubs on Somerset side of Exmoor this week, with posters promoting our seasonal drug/drink driving campaign. Please report any concerns or suspicions you may have by ringing 101/999 (if urgent) or contact Crimestoppers online or by ringing 0800555111. | 19 Nov 2025 | Over the Autumn/Winter period, we will be focussing on engaging with our rural communities through scheduled visits to Cutcombe Market and our many villages. Details of visits are listed on this website. We will be targeting any areas of anti-social behaviour and working with partner agencies to resolve issues. If you have concerns, come alone and talk to us at one of the events listed or make contact via 101 or Avon and Somerset website. Response (2 Dec 2025) We will be at the Christmas events this week at Dunster (Saturday 6th December) and Dulverton by Starlight (Sunday 7th December). We look forward to meeting our communities and the many visitors to both lovely events. |

Response (22 Jan 2026) The Avon and Somerset Fraud Protect team are visiting Dulverton Town Hall (Ground Floor Level) on 24th February to meet our community and to give valuable advice to safeguard and protect you from Fraud. Anyone can become a victim of Fraud so please come along if you can. |
| 1 Mar 2026 | Our focus for Spring will be reducing crime within our communities, After a recent visit from the fraud protect team when they spoke at event in Dulverton, we will look for opportunities to educate about how to keep yourself safe from Fraud by speaking to groups and individuals. We will also be visiting campsites and accommodation providers with information for visitors to reminding them not to leave property unattended in their vehicles and to keep dogs on leads near livestock. There will be pop up police posts in villages offering contact and bike registering. Look out for events to be advertised !!! Response (2 Apr 2026)There was lots of focussed engagement over the weekend with Pop Up Police Posts in Clatworthy, Dunster, Dunster Beach and Porlock . It was great to meet so many local and visitors and discuss any issues or concerns. |
| 1 Mar 2026 | We have had recent reports of poaching in Knowle and at Hawkridge. Please report via 101 or A & S website if you know of any poaching in your area. Please be alert and report any suspicious incidents to Police. Check the security of your property and buildings, remove items like GPS trackers etc and store them securely. If not already a member of Horse/Farm Watch, please consider joining. We visit Cutcombe Market once a month and are holding a "Free trailer marking session" on 8th April which will be supported by NFU. We will resume farm visits once the lambing season is over and Farmer have more time to engage. Response (2 Apr 2026) Don’t miss the free trailing mark event at Cutcombe Market on 8th April for our farming community. Colleagues from the NFU and officers from Neighbourhood Policing will be on hand to mark the trailers and meet farmers. Hope to see you there. |

We will be visiting and patrolling local beauty spots to remind visitors not to leave valuables in their unattended vehicles. There will be pop up police posts in villages offering contact and bike registering. Look out for events to be advertised !!! Response (9 Jul 2026)Minehead, Williton and Exmoor PCSO’s will be at Dunster Fair on 29th July! Please come along and say hello! We will be registering bikes, giving out crime reduction information and hopefully enjoying a great day out with our communities and many visitors. |

We will be resuming our routine visits to farms in September. Response (5 Aug 2026)We have been making the most of the gorgeous weather with visits to community events. Last week was a busy one with visits to Dunster Fair and Cutcombe fete. It was great to meet some many of our communities and visitors whilst giving advice, registering bikes and offering fun activities for the children. We have also been out and about on foot patrol. |
