Sign for the King William IV
King William IV (1765-1837). He reigned from 26 June 1830 to 20 June 1837. The sign is a copy of the painting of the King in dress uniform by Sir Martin Archer, circa 1800.

The Bell Hotel
Looking rather sad for itself the Bell Hotel has seen better days.

Looking west along the A378
Mostly hidden from view. by the garage’s display of fuel prices, is The Bell Hotel. Although the hotel’s sign still hangs over the A378, the ground and first floor windows, along the B3168, are boarded over. Roger Geach’s view of Image shows the building had boarded up windows, on the ground floor, six years ago.
