New Housing Completed (Richard's Castle)
The modern timber-framed houses in the foreground have now been completed! They look marvellous. Border Oak Design Offices constructed these, and in the distance is the village hall (centre) and another new house (left).

New Housing Development (Richards Castle)
The new housing development being constructed by Border Oak Design Offices is still in progress since I last visited on Good Friday 2018. However, this year (2019), more houses have been added, and here they are, being constructed.

The Castle Inn, Richards Castle
Richards Castle takes its name from the castle built for Richard Fitz Scrob before 1051. He was a Norman who had been granted lands in this area by King Edward the Confessor prior to the Norman conquest in 1066.
