Path at Ebury Cottage
These over big bushes screen or almost hide the very pretty cottage.

Miniature ponies in a paddock
This friendly little pair came over to by my vocal blandishments and to discover if I had any snacks about my person. They sniffed assiduously with nostrils well flared and lips curled back. As well they might, as I did have a juicy apple secreted in a trouser pocket, which I feel they discerned. However, as it was not forthcoming they then played hard-to-get and sauntered off grazing the already well nibbled grass, I assume in an attempt to make me feel guilty. It worked. But I did not feed them. That is always a no-no. I did rub their itchy little foreheads which they appreciated, I think. I then saw their little eyes, hidden under dense manes and hair; clever, keen and trusting eyes. Bless them and their little lives in this isolated paddock and barns.

Haughmond Villa
Originally a cottage by the look of it, dated in the 1860s by the stone plaque. Much extended with car parking where a garden may once have bloomed. Lots of 1990s brickwork everywhere.
