I have over 11 years varied Policing experience in Patrol, CID, Integrated Offender Management, Custody and now as the SNT Inspector for Shrewsbury. I have a very dedicated team who all work hard to ensure we deliver the best possible service to our community.
Hello, I am the Safer Neighbourhood Sergeant covering the Shrewsbury area. I am an experienced Officer and have worked for West Mercia Police since 2000. My objective is to ensure that your Safer Neighbourhood Teams are visible in the local community and are engaging with Partner Agencies in order deal with issues that arise. I have worked as a Police Community Support Officer since July 2007 and have been based on this rural SNT for the duration.
I have been a PCSO for nine years and have covered most areas in and around Shrewsbury including Meole Brace, Radbrook, Gains Park, Frankwell, Rural South, Underdale and Mereside. I am currently a PCSO on Harlescott and Sundorne where I did my initicial training.

Priorities
11 Feb 2019 | There has been an increase in reports of poaching and lamping in the rural areas. In particular Frodesley, Acton Burnell, Wroxeter, Dryton and Leighton. Response (11 Feb 2019)Action January/February 2019 - Shrewsbury Rural East SNT have heightened patrols in these areas during the times when poaching has previously been reported. The team have given crime prevention and property security advice to landowners. We have also advised that police should be called when person's are seen poaching and try to get any vehicle details in order that we can proactively tackle this issue. |
