The former Bowdler's School building
The building is dated 1724, and was originally founded by a local man named Thomas Bowdler, Mayor of the town in the very early 18th century. It attracted a Grade II listing https://britishlistedbuildings.co.uk/101246464-former-bowdlers-school-shrewsbury#.YrQMA3bMI2w & https://historicengland.org.uk/listing/the-list/list-entry/1246464 in 1953, and is currently in use by a dental practice.

The Henry Tudor mansion on Wyle Cop, Shrewsbury
The timber framed building here is where Henry Tudor stayed before the Battle of Bosworth. It dated to the 1430's based on dendrochronology of the timbers, and would have been the sort of placean important person may lodge in by 1485.

Restaurant and brasserie in Barracks Passage. The Grade I listed
late 15th century building was reputed to have got its name when
Henry Tudor stayed at the site in 1485 on his way to victory
over Richard III at the Battle of Bosworth.

Variously known in the past as the Lion Tap, and the Trotting Horse building, this fine range of timber framed construction is effectively the rear portion of
Image on Wyle Cop.
It dates from the early 15th century, a date of 1426 being confirmed by tree-ring study of some of the oak timbers.
