Atkins Road at the junction of New Park Road
Unlike the North Circular there has been so much opposition locally there is no dual carriageway of any note on the south, it just winds in and out of narrow A roads wherever they happen to be to link the North Circular at Kew and Woolwich Ferry.

Although the A205 acts as a south circular road to London constant efforts by the residents have made sure the standard was never upgraded beyond a basic A road. As a result it is jammed on and off for most of its length all day every day and will only get worse as more people move into London.
