Looking along the railway tracks, leading to Waterloo, at the dispiriting jungle of development that is VNEB, Vauxhall Nine Elms Battersea. Owen Hatherley has remarked that its "ruthlessly overdeveloped nature ... devoid of planning, intelligence or character, is a genuine nadir".

An area filled with warehouses and depots, but likely to change much if the new US Embassy goes ahead as planned. On the right is the railway line leading towards Vauxhall station.
