Aston-by-Stone railway station (site)
Opened in 1901 by the North Staffordshire Railway on the line from Stoke-on-Trent via Colwich to Rugby, this station close in 1947. View south east from Uttoxeter Road level crossing.

The Three Crowns, Little Stoke
This thatched pub on Lichfield Road is a former coaching inn and is now part of the Vintage Inns chain. Internally the emphasis is very much on food although there is room for those who just want a drink.
