The A34 at Aston-by-Stone
Most of the village is off the main road, and it is much more than the car dealership which is all that passing motorists might see. You need to be alert when crossing the road on foot.

Farm track in Aston-by-Stone
The farm down this lane appears to be fairly recently built and does not appear on some maps. The track is also the route of a footpath and is part of the Two Saints Way which runs between Chester and Lichfield.

The Crown Inn, Aston
The Capri Club International (the car, not the island) meets here on the 2nd Tuesday of every month, so the petrol station across the A34 is handy.
