Coronation Club in Gillingham
Viewed across Buckingham Road. I was a day too late for the evening Pig Racing announced on their entertainment board. Minimal research has shown that this is likely to refer to an electronic device on which several small models of pigs progress falteringly along a custom-made table to the finish line.

Glove sale in Gillingham
The premises of Chester Jefferies Ltd are at the western end of Buckingham Road.
The business was founded in 1936 by Chester Jefferies and Gilbert Pearce to manufacture gloves from hogskin (from the South American peccary and carpincho (capybara)). In 2014, Chester Jefferies extensive range of gloves are made from leathers from around the world, and finished by hand.
