Shaftesbury in Bloom... ing snow!
These letters spell out SHAFTESBURY IN BLOOM and would normally be planted with colourful floral displays. Today, though, the only colour on display is white after six inches of snow fell the previous day.

Shaftesbury: postbox № SP7 24, Pix Mead Gardens
Pix Mead Gardens is a little road which runs parallel with the main Salisbury Road with just a grassed area between the two – it thus more resembles one of those service roads alongside busy carriageways.
The little postbox is emptied at 5:45pm on weekdays and at noon on Saturdays, while in the background we see the Half Moon Inn.
