Pix Mead Gardens is a little road which runs parallel with the main Salisbury Road with just a grassed area between the two – it thus more resembles one of those service roads alongside busy carriageways. The little postbox is emptied at 5:45pm on weekdays and at noon on Saturdays, while in the background we see the Half Moon Inn.
