Well stocked garden, Ansty
This wonderful vegetable garden is to be found near the village pond.

Maypole, Ansty
Close to the village pond generations of children of the Wardour estates have danced around the maypole on May Day. In 1993 the 72 foot pole fell in a storm. It has been replaced by a 50 foot pole on the advice of the insurance company.

Ansty: the maypole
A very large maypole topped with a weathervane, but looking on close glance to be a telegraph pole! The wires in the picture show perspective of a telegraph pole's height.
