24 Castle Street
Former main post office, situated at the corner of Castle Street and Chipper Lane. Built in 1907, the architect was either H N Hawks (according to the Pevsner guide) or W T Oldrieve (according to the listing details). It closed in 2016. Ninjas' work
In the middle of the night of 1st July, this dilapidated Georgian building in Castle Street was 'bombed' by the mysterious Salisbury Knitting Ninjas; they have brightened up the face of this neglected old place in order to highlight the decay and lack of action by the owners. See

Lloyds Bank
Part of Lloyds Bank, originally the Wiltshire and Dorset Bank before acquisition by Lloyds Bank in 1914. This section is on the corner of Castle Street and along Chipper Lane, dating from 1901 - the remainder of the building faces on to Blue Boar Row. Dilapidation on Castle Street
Located next to the Post Office, these two lovely buildings are looking sadly neglected. The rest of Castle Street looks reasonably affluent and tidy so it come as a surprise to find these. Unfortunately the two K6 phone boxes don't look much better.
