Salisbury Bus Station, Endless Street, Salisbury (1 of 2)
As bus stations go Salisbury's is no worse and no better than others I've encountered. The toilets smell a bit but are equipped with movement sensors to turn the lights on and off, which was unexpected. For another perspective of the bus station see Image Update January 2014: the bus station has now closed after 75 years http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-england-wiltshire-25603828

The old Fire Station
Salisbury had a volunteer fire service of sorts in Salt Lane during the late nineteenth century but it wasn't until 1907 that a formal service was given a proper station. It served until 1964 when the brigade moved into better premises. After that time, the name was blanked off with a blank sheet of boarding, but has recently been revealed again. The station was empty for some time but is now a small business enterprise hub.

This is a companion to this one Image The observant will note that Wilts and Dorset buses are red at the front and blue at the back. The DVLA record them as being 'multi-colour'.
