Guildhall at Fish Row, Queen Street junction
There is an OS cutmark benchmark (see http://www.bench-marks.org.uk/bm29836 ) hidden behind the black litter bin on the angle of the Guildhall and there was another higher up on the same corner cut in 1849 as Mark 296 on the Gloucester to London 1GL survey line (see http://www.bench-marks.org.uk/bm29835 )

Ye House Of John A'Port in Salisbury
Crew Clothing Co is located at 8 Queen Street in the city centre. Below the name of the current occupier is Three Lyon Chequer Ye House Of John A'Port. The half-timbered house, built in 1425, was Grade II* listed in 1952.
London Camera Exchange is on the right. Between the two shops is the entrance to apartments.

The seedier side
It is dustbin day, but unfortunately the rubbish has to be discarded on the pavement until the bin men get here. Surely it would look better if there were wheelie bins to put it in, especially given the number of rats I saw on the riverbank not too far from here.

No Butchers in Butcher Row, Salisbury
Logic suggesting that there might be a butchers shop in Butcher Row. I went in search, camera at the ready. Alas, there was no butchers shop; there was, however, a fish & chip shop! "Logic" then suggested that if there was a fish & chip shop in Butcher Row, there might be a butchers shop in Fish Row ..... sadly, there was no butchers shop there either!
