Old Milestone by the A360, Potterne Road near Devizes
Metal plate attached to stone post by the A360, in parish of Roundway (Kennet District), Devizes Road; 50m North of driveway to Woods; 200m North of Broadleas Gardens, in bank behind footpath, where East side footpath starts, on East side of road. Burt iron casting, erected by the Devizes (consolidated) turnpike trust in the 19th century.

Pasture near Montecello Farm, Devizes
The southern extremity of Devizes is marked by an area of undulating land known as Nine Hills - this view shows the land to the west of Nine Hills, close to Montecello Farm and Drews Pond.

Rangebourne Mill
The mill part of the building was demolished many years ago. The photographer lived here between the ages of five and eighteen months (1949-50). There was no gas or electricity supply and all cooking was done on a paraffin stove.
