Path at Hackbridge
A path shared by pedestrians and cyclists at Hackbridge, in the outer suburbs if south London. The path is on the route of National Cycle Network route 20, and also forms part of the Wandle Trail.
To the left of the path is a community garden. This image was taken in early January. The garden had been decorated for Christmas but with Twelfth Night approaching, it would soon be time for the decorations to be taken down.

Industry on the Wandle, Carshalton, Surrey
Although Carshalton now is almost entirely a residential suburb, some of its former industry survived into the 1970s along the Wandle. These old industrial premises have now been demolished.
