Weir on the Wye
The River Wye flowing past suburban gardens along a street called Millside. There's the clue. No trace of any mill now, but the weir is still there.

Footpath at Cores End
Just ahead, the footpath to Flackwell Heath crosses the old Bourne End to High Wycombe railway line. It is a bright, crisp day and very difficult to get pictures that don't have strong shadows and bleached out sections. I failed here to show clearly that the sign says that, courtesy of Wooburn Parish Council this is a nature walk as part of the European Year of the Environment 1988. Remember that?

The former Heart in Hand pub, Wooburn
This C17 building was a pub called the Heart in Hand at one time. See http://www.britishlistedbuildings.co.uk/en-47050-the-heart-in-hand-wooburn-buckinghamshire for entry in British Listed Buildings.
Until recently it was a Thai restaurant but it now seems to be undergoing some kind of refurbishment.
