Save our Greenbelt

Modern house on Kiln Lane, Wooburn
You can just see the house next door which was built at the same time, probably after the late 60s, but this has had a refit and new windows and cladding put on.

Can't we stay out a bit longer?
The parents were making a bee-line for home. The lad was hanging back, no doubt wanting to be out in the crisp bright day a bit longer. There is an over-wintering crop in the field but the footpath is still clearly defined.

Hedsor Road, Bourne End - and the 'Garibaldi'
How cheering to be able to report that after a period of uncertainty the Garibaldi's future as a pub has been secured - having been acquired by the local community: http://garibaldipub.co.uk/ It has to be said that 'Garibaldi' is an unlikely name for a pub in Buckinghamshire - but it seems that Italy's national hero was once a guest at Cliveden, just up the road: http://garibaldipub.co.uk/?page_id=9 Photo taken on one of the many wet days in January 2014.
