Upton Court
A rambling medieval timber-framed building - the last thing I expected to find here in suburban Slough! We'd stopped to look at the parish church nearby. Pevsner says 'basically late C15' ('The Buildings of England: Buckinghamshire;). The other - east-facing - side of the building is definitely more interesting, with a stair-turret, but is largely hidden behind a tall fence. Present use unclear - offices?
