Cow Lane Whaley Bridge
A footpath connecting Reservoir Road and Orchard Road. The original footpath was setted but has now been covered in macadam. However, the original stone setts can still be seen at the bottom of the path on Reservoir Road and along the right hand edge of the footpath.

Buxton Road Railway Bridge
The Grade II listed https://historicengland.org.uk/listing/the-list/list-entry/1119771 bridge dates from 1863. The bridge carries the Whaley Bridge to Buxton line of the Stockport, Disley and Whaley Bridge railway which was opened on 16/06/1863 over what is now the A5004. It was an extension of the line from Stockport to Whaley Bridge which was opened in 1857.

A Methodist chapel since 1821 now combined with United Reformed and Baptist church congregations.

Uniting Church
The Grade II listed building https://historicengland.org.uk/listing/the-list/list-entry/1054734 was originally the Wesleyan Methodist Church and Sunday School. The central unit dates from 1821. The left hand wing is the chapel built in 1867. The right hand wing is the Sunday School. The building was revamped in 2011. A glazed link was constructed through which the original windows and stone work can be seen. The church is now made up of three denominations (Methodist, United Reformed and Baptist) worshipping together and is used by various community groups.
