Buxton Road Railway Bridge

The Grade II listed https://historicengland.org.uk/listing/the-list/list-entry/1119771 bridge dates from 1863. The bridge carries the Whaley Bridge to Buxton line of the Stockport, Disley and Whaley Bridge railway which was opened on 16/06/1863 over what is now the A5004. It was an extension of the line from Stockport to Whaley Bridge which was opened in 1857.
