The Silver Ball on the A10 at Reed
This cafe is so called, because of the large silver ball that hangs from the front of the property. If memory serves me correctly, petrol pumps were on the forecourt until the middle 1970's. It used to be a stopping off point for breakfast, for fishermen heading for the Fens, early on Sunday mornings, it might still be used by them.

Entrance to Millfield Cottage near Reed
This cottage used to be a small bungalow, with the only access being a small gate onto the A10, but now this driveway has been built onto the lane to Reed End.

Reed Cricket Ground in winter
Looking across the roped-off square with houses on Blacksmith's Lane on the other side of the Green. I looped a catch to cover and was out for 49 here once. You don't forget things like that.
