Bengeo: Molewood Pumping Station
The text carved into the stone lintel above the main door states that the water works building was erected in Molewood Road in 1888 for the Borough of Hertford. It is now operated by Three Valleys Water.

Bengeo: The Hertfordshire Way
The Hertfordshire Way passes here through one of the arches of the set of bridges and viaducts that take the railway between Hertford and Stevenage over the valley of the River Beane. The old wheels on the right operate a sluice on an offtake from the River Beane that is part of the water supply infrastructure for Hertford.
