Former Bakery
Located on the corner of Avignon Road and St Asaph Road, the Ghost sign on the wall of this shop advertising Daren Bread suggests that it was once a bakery. Daren Bread was a rival brand to Hovis and intriguingly there is a Hovis advert just visible behind the Daren one suggesting a change of allegiance at some time in the past. The shop appears to be undergoing conversion into housing.

Approaching Nunhead Junction
A class 465 Networker electric unit (465924) slows for a red signal at the junction ahead. The train forms the 10:38 Dartford - London Victoria service (2U74) which is due in Victoria at 11:28. The rear section of the train is formed of a brace of Class 466 2-car units.
