The Boone tomb in old St Margaret's churchyard
Tomb of the Boones - a prominent local family. Includes Thomas Boone (died 1748), Charles Boone (d. 1786), Elizabeth Boone (d. 1799), Harriet Boone (d.1811) and Charles Boone (d. 1819). Other members of the family are buried in their chapel Image The monument was restored in 1950.

John Call monument, St Margaret's old churchyard
Monument to Sir John Call Bt, MP and engineer to the East India Company, died 1801. One of the few churchyard monuments to be accorded grade 2* listed status, for being "one of the grandest outdoor memorials ever produced by the Coade factory".
