With extensive roadworks, part of the large-scale development of the area. To the right is the A212 to Catford; ahead is the B227 to Forest Hill. Wilmott Dixon are building a large housing block on the junction of Bell Green (on the left) and Southend Lane, near Sainsbury's superstore. This scheme is part of a multi-phase redevelopment programme on the former Bell Green gas works site that will create new homes, businesses and employment within Lewisham.The design and build project, will provide accommodation for 156 new apartments and commercial space.
