Gatepiers to Rockhills
Gatepiers to Rockhills on Westwood Hill. Rockhills was the home of Sir Joseph Paxton, the designer of the Crystal Palace, lived from 1852-65, with a later resident being Sir Henry Buckland, general manager of the Palace, from 1922-56. The house was demolished in 1969. The gatepiers are Grade II listed - see https://historicengland.org.uk/listing/the-list/list-entry/1376636?section=official-list-entry.
