Also shown in Image From https://www.ucl.ac.uk/bartlett/architecture/sites/bartlett/files/48.8_cardwell_and_woodhill_areas.pdf : "a beershop built as the Soldier’s Rest in 1842, was rebuilt in 1901–2 by Thomas & Edge".

Frances Street / Artillery Place, Woolwich
A similar view to Image, with the B210 (Artillery Place, to the right) crossing Frances Street at traffic lights. The building on the corner is described at http://edithsstreets.blogspot.com/2015/01/railway-from-london-bridge-to-gravesend.html : "built in 1903–4 as a military tailors shop ... In 1945 it became the Woolwich office of the Assistance Board. In 2011 another storey was added to turn it into flats".

Flats on Artillery Place, Woolwich
Looking right from Image], with overlap. On the right is Brixham Building, a recent construction which I think has 33 flats.

Floral tributes to Drummer Lee Rigby at the Royal Artillery Barracks
Twelve days after the murder of Drummer Lee Rigby, the floral tributes continued to grow. This is outside the Royal Artillery Barracks, but only gives a snapshot of the tributes. Many of the ones here were from serving soldiers. There were far more in Artillery Place and John Wilson Street, near the scene of the murder.

Tributes to Lee Rigby outside Woolwich barracks
When I had tried to photograph this location under "normal" circumstances a few years ago I was deterred by the sentries. In the light of the events of May 2013, no-one objected.

Floral tributes to Drummer Lee Rigby at the Royal Artillery Barracks
Drummer Lee Rigby was murdered on the Wednesday. These were the floral tributes by Sunday outside the Royal Artillery Barracks where he was based. They steadily built up over the next few days. There were even more flowers in Artillery Place and John Wilson Street.
