Watermans Arms pub (site of) 11, Rotherhithe Street, London, SE16
The pub existed from 1841, or slightly earlier, until 1880 just east of West Lane. It would have been approximately at the corner of the white sided building that is now in the low numbers of Bermondsey Wall East.

Globe pub (site of) 4, Rotherhithe Street, London, SE16
It did not last a century having opened in 1805 and closed in 1892. It stood practically next door to Gillam Court upon which the Millpond Estate, building to the left, now stands. Part of the site is now occupied by Angel Wharf - shown right.

Black Bull pub (site of) 12, Rotherhithe Street, London, SE16
First recorded in 1757 but believed to have existed before that and it finally stopped 'pulling pints' in 1909. It would have been about where the large shrubs now grow, about 100 yards east of West Lane. To the right is the Millpond Estate and to its left, before demolition stood Platform Wharf. When the wharf was demolished it revealed some remains, still open to view, of the Moated Manor House that was built in 1350 and owned by King Edward III (1327-1377).
