Seats with a view
On the top of the slope on the western side of Greenwich Park, these seats in one of the quieter parts of the park provide a fine view. Beyond is the steeple of the Church of Lady Star of the Sea in Crooms Hill. First built in 1793 for Catholic seamen at the nearby Royal Hospital, the church was later rebuilt in 1851.

On Croom's Hill, Greenwich. Named for the Blessed Virgin Mary: one of her many honorific titles within the Catholic Church. (Apparently, this unusual spelling is correct as applied to this particular church building.)
