On the top of the slope on the western side of Greenwich Park, these seats in one of the quieter parts of the park provide a fine view. Beyond is the steeple of the Church of Lady Star of the Sea in Crooms Hill. First built in 1793 for Catholic seamen at the nearby Royal Hospital, the church was later rebuilt in 1851.
