Thames Path at Bugsby's Reach, North Greenwich
The long distance footpath should lead left towards the Millennium Dome (O2 Arena). Due to development work the footpath and the Thames Cycle Route cyclepath is closed.
Across the River Thames, is Silvertown of North Woolwich.

City Peninsula under construction
This view shows how quickly blocks of apartments are being built all along the riverside of the Greenwich Peninsula. The Masterplan shows the population of the peninsula eventually reaching 37,000 (mostly not in "affordable" homes!)
