Seat with no view
I doubt that anyone has sat on this bench since the hoarding was erected in front of it. It would originally had a view across open land towards the river Thames but when the hoarding is removed it will be facing the new high-rise City Peninsula development Image

Riverway, formerly Ceylon Place
The present address of these houses is Riverway. But the fading sign on the near corner gives their original name: Ceylon Place. The row, built in 1801, is listed grade 2 (List Entry Number 1386006) as "the earliest surviving residential development on the East Greenwich Peninsula ... a rare survival of late Georgian artisanal housing". At the far end is the Pilot Inn Image

Entrance to two new blocks
A glass entrance lobby linking a pair of housing blocks forming the latest addition to the "Greenwich Millennium Village", opened in 2013. See Image The cranes behind show that there is another development being worked on closer to the river.

River Way, Greenwich
This street was the location for the video to Blur's 1994 hit "Parklife" although it has changed substantially since then.

The Pilot Inn, Greenwich Peninsula
Almost six years since another contributor's first geograph for the square Image, and this Fuller's pub has been given a makeover since then, so worth another view. It is the only traditional pub in the area - and almost the only drinking place outside the O2 Dome - so it is popular, especially on sunny days when the beer garden and front terrace are well used.

The Pilot, River Way
A surreal survival in an area no longer containing much even of the C20th. The listing says that the eight cottages, built in 1801 as Ceylon Place, were intended for "workers at the adjacent tidal mill and chemical works". Grade II listed. The listing appears not to apply to the pub, which must be a bit later. More standard residential fare can be seen behind.
