The Beam River is seen here looking upriver from near New Road. The structure in the distance is for flood control and the bank in the centre of the photograph is clearly also a flood control measure. Beam Park
In normal times I wouldn't have dared stand even in the bus Lane of the A1306 to take a picture! People are still social distancing and staying at home. It seems at about 1/3 of the old Ford Dagenham site is being turned into housing. I don't fancy being a commuter on the Tilbury loop once everyone is trying to get in to london via Dagenham Dock Station.
