Ye Olde Six Bells and Barn
Ye Olde Six Bells, the building on the left of the photo, is thought to date from the 15th century, but with 9th century origins, and claims to be the second oldest pub in the country. It is grade II listed - for listing particulars see www.historicengland.org.uk/listing/the-list/list-entry/1378034.
The barn in the background, built of wood with a Horsham Stone roof, dates from the 16th century and was possibly a tithe barn. It is also grade II listed - for listing particulars, see www.historicengland.org.uk/listing/the-list/list-entry/1028983.
The path on the right, called Stoney Way, also dates from the 16th century and was the route from Horley Manor to St Bartholomew's Church. It now leads to the Anderson Leisure Centre. It is locally listed.
