Snowdrop Lane, Lyoth Common
The road has had its name changed recently from Lyoth Lane which now starts at a junction beyond Image in the distance. Lyoth Common is a former common that was gradually encroached upon between the 17th and 19th centuries leaving only a small strip by the time of the tithe survey in 1843 which had soon been enclosed to become a nursery which survived until the 1970s when the area along with nearby Northlands Wood was built upon. Lyoth Common was transferred from Wivelsfield to Haywards Heath in 1934.

Snowdrop Lane
Up until the 1960s the road was called Sluts Lane but was changed for some reason to that of the pub which can be seen in the distance. The Wealden countryside between Scaynes Hill and Chailey can be seen in the distance on the next ridge.

Rose Cottages, Snowdrop Lane, Lyoth Common
Victorian cottages that seem to have been refurbished judging by the roof. The lane was previously known as Lyoth Lane which continued beyond the cottages then turned immediately left at the junction with Snowdrop Lane in the distance, however, that has recently been changed so the Lyoth Lane starts at the junction ahead and Snowdrop Lane continues westwards towards a junction with the A272.
