A residential road that runs from Eastern Road to Newton Road that was laid out in the first decade of the 20th century and mostly completed by the Second World War.

Originally built as an access road for a sewage works which is now part of Image the earliest houses were built on the western side in the late 19th century with all of the eastern side constructed by the council after the First World War.

Originally laid out towards the end of the 19th century the western side was developed before the First World War with the eastern added with council housing after the conflict. The road originally accessed a sewage works but now ends at Newton Road.

Old School Court, Lindfield
A view of the old school that was built in 1878 and closed in 2000 replaced by a more modern building at the western end of the common. The school originally catered for 5-14 year olds but was became a primary school after the 1944 Education Act. Now converted into flats with the rest of the former grounds now built on, see Image The road is Lewes Road, the B2111, it straight nature owing to its former route across the common.

Duke Barn Court, Lindfield
The original Dukes Barn Court was built in 1975 as retirement flats but were demolished in the last year and replaced by another set of flats as well as seven individual houses, three of which can be seen on the right, with the other four behind the flats, see Image The original flats were named after a former barn that existed here from the 19th century until the 1950s when it was engulfed in residential expansion.

Lindfield Evangelical Free Church, Chaloner's Road, Lindfield
Originally located at Image moving to this building in 1939 where they have been ever since. Part of the County Towns Mission to begin with they changed to their current name in 1980. Chaloner's Road was developed between the wars and runs from Lewes Road to Newton Road.

Wills and Kate, Barncroft Drive, Lindfield
Designed by local sculptor Paul Badham, funded by Barratts as part of their newly built Limes estate and unveiled in 2011. Nine foot tall and clad in stainless steel the swans were chosen as being synonymous with Lindfield Pond though there have been none nesting there for a few years.
