Homestead Farm
A tidy farm. As well as cattle, the farm offers camping and four-wheel-drive and off-road experiences. This is probably what makes most of its money.

As can be seen; a cattle farm, beef rather than dairy.

Footpath by the Caul Bourne
The Caul Bourne runs to the left. Interestingly, the village where it rises is called Calbourne, one word and without the "u". A footpath from Shalfleet to Newbridge follows the bourne along successive pasture fields such as here.

Footpath towards Newbridge
The path leaves the track to Homestead Farm and crosses fields again in the last quarter of a mile approaching Newbridge. The Caul Bourne is to the left and the signpost at the road junction at SZ413875 can just be seen at the termination of the path.
