Distance
1
Silent junction
This junction of unclassified roads belies the fact that a holiday caravan park is only a few hundred yards away. Needless to say, this is not the recommended route if towing. The trees are growing at an angle due to the prevailing winds from the west.

Coastal farming
Agricultural use of land as close to the sea as possible in South Cornwall. The noise of the sea breeze blowing gently across the field as this shot was taken was sublime.

Footpath to the seaside
In less than half a mile from the gate, the South West Coast path at Downend Point is reached. This is about half way between Looe and Talland Bay - most of the coast is National Trust property.

Short cut near Carey Park
This looks like an understandable short cut to the coast path from Killigarth Manor Holiday Park, as there are holiday caravans on either side, the footpath to the coast shown in Image is just behind the camera, and the alternative is presumably a long round trip via the official entrance. the buildings across the valley are at Carey Park.

Lane to Talland
A route with public access is how this lane is mapped, and it doesn't give vehicle access except to a few properties on the west side of the bay. To the right, gold path 612/1/1 provides a faster link to the coast path below Downend Cottage.
