Burnhead Farm
Part of the farm is now a caravan and camping site.Relatives of mine owned the farm. Gone are the days when holidayed here most summers and the fields were all given over to raspberries and strawberries.

Final Arrivals, Cateran Yomp 2012
The final participants of the Gold Challenge - the full 52 miles of the Cateran Trail - arrive at the finish line at 9.35 on Sunday having left at 7.00 or 7.30 the previous day. Of course there were great cheers!
I believe they are father and daughter and the mother of the family completed the challenge last year.
And of course the sun was shining. A great end to a fabulous event.

Crossing the Finish Line, Cateran Yomp 2012
These lovely Ladies crossed the finish line at 2.35am on Sunday morning having left at 7.00am or 7.30am the day before. They completed the Gold Challenge - the full 52 miles of the Cateran Trail. They were the first Ladies team to finish and were delighted!

Cateran Yomp 2012
Early Sunday morning. Many of the walkers on the Gold Challenge - the full length of the Cateran Trail which is 52 miles - have returned to the finish line. A group to the left, with their medals, are probably heading home and another group to the left are just finishing.
