Construction site viewed from junction of London Road and Hawksbill Way
Ordnance Survey documents indicate that in 1852 a benchmark was levelled at 23.795 feet above Liverpool Datum on the stables of the Royal Oak Inn which was near this junction. See www.bench-marks.org.uk/bm32379

Former B&Q warehouse, East Station Road
B&Q have moved to a warehouse four times the size of this so this site is in limbo awaiting redevelopment. The local NHS trust use the car park as acentral parking area and utilise bus services to move staff to the various locations t5hat they are working from.

Ancient Chinese Characters, Bridge House (1)
