I am the Police Community Support Officer for the Hampton Hargate and Hempsted wards.

I have been employed by Cambridgeshire Constabulary since 2007 and have dedicated my career to neighbourhood policing. I am currently serving as a PCSO for the southern Peterborough sector.

My responsibilities include patrolling and engaging with the local community, specifically within Hampton Hargate and Hempsted. I am fluent in Italian and possess a strong understanding of how dyslexia and its various manifestations can impact individuals and situations.

Alongside my day-to-day role, I work as a Police Search Advisor (PolSA) managing the highest risk missing people investigations and some of the most complex crime the police deal with. I also use this as a platform for CBRN (Chemical, Biological, Radiological, Nuclear) and DVI (Disaster Victim Identification) specialisms I hold. So I’m always busy!

My 18-year policing career started in Peterborough as a response officer before I was promoted to sergeant where I remained in response policing for a short while before moving into force-wide specialist roles. Much of my time was spent on frontline policing in Peterborough and in the Fens, dealing with all manner of calls for service which has put me in good stead to understand and appreciate the challenges in policing these areas, and the responsibility to support the many diverse communities we have.

My experience of policing has taught me that putting the right officers in the right place is key, whilst making sure we are visible, approachable, task-focussed and determined in tackling crime and disorder. I am a Neighbourhood Policing Sergeant within the Southern Peterborough Neighbourhood Policing Team, with responsibility for leading and coordinating officers and PCSOs across a number of diverse wards in the south of the city. These include Orton Longueville and Orton Waterville, Hampton Hargate and Hempstead, Hampton Vale and Haddon, North Stanground and Fletton, South Stanground including Cardea, and Woodston and Fletton.

I joined Cambridgeshire Police in March 2019 and spent my early service as a response officer, where I gained extensive frontline experience dealing with a broad range of incidents, vulnerability and demand across Peterborough. I was promoted to Sergeant in January 2024, bringing with me a strong operational background and a clear understanding of the pressures faced by both officers and the communities we serve.

In addition to my leadership role, I am a Public Order Officer and taser trained, with CBRN training and other specialist skills that support the wider force response. This experience enables me to provide effective operational oversight, ensure officer safety, and support my team during both day to day neighbourhood policing and more complex incidents.

Each officer within my team is responsible for a specific ward, allowing them to build strong local knowledge and relationships. My role is to lead the team collectively, ensuring a consistent, intelligence led approach across southern Peterborough while remaining responsive to the unique needs of each neighbourhood. I work closely with my officers to set priorities, manage demand, and drive problem solving activity that addresses crime, anti social behaviour and community concerns.

I am the Police Community Support Officer for the Hampton Hargate and Hempsted wards.

I have been employed by Cambridgeshire Constabulary since 2007 and have dedicated my career to neighbourhood policing. I am currently serving as a PCSO for the southern Peterborough sector.

My responsibilities include patrolling and engaging with the local community, specifically within Hampton Hargate and Hempsted. I am fluent in Italian and possess a strong understanding of how dyslexia and its various manifestations can impact individuals and situations.

I am the neighbourhood officer for the Woodston and Fletton wards.

I joined Cambridgeshire Constabulary in 2016 as a call handler in the force control room, and then joined as a PC in 2018. I’ve worked in response, response investigations and spent most of my career in neighbourhood policing.

My role is about engaging with the public, being a recognisable face to build a positive rapport between the community and the police. Neighbourhood Policing can be varied day-to-day, from being out on foot patrols, attending community events or being part of targeted work to solve long-term issues.

I am the Police Community Support Officer for the Orton Longueville and Orton Waterville wards.

I have been a PCSO with Cambridgeshire Constabulary since 2005 as part of neighbourhood policing teams and have covered various areas of Peterborough.

My role is about providing hi-visibility patrols, dealing with anti-social behaviour (ASB) issues and gathering intelligence to support my colleagues in dealing with emerging issues in the area.

I regularly hold policing surgeries, which is an ideal opportunity for members of the public to speak to us in person. I also attend the local schools in my area and give inputs to students on various matters, particularly ASB, the effect it has on the local community and implications for offenders.

My team is committed to working with the local community to enable everyone to feel safe in the area they live, work or visit.

I’m the Neighbourhood Policing Inspector responsible for the North and South Peterborough teams, covering a wide and diverse area that includes both urban and rural communities. From the vibrant neighbourhoods of Hampton, Orton, Bretton and Werrington to the more rural settings of Eye, Wittering, and the surrounding villages, our teams are embedded in the heart of the communities we serve.

I began my policing career in 2001 and have held a variety of roles over the years, gaining a broad perspective on the challenges and opportunities within modern policing. For the past six years, I’ve focused on neighbourhood policing, working across all of teams in Peterborough. This experience has reinforced my belief in the power of local engagement and proactive problem-solving.

My teams consist of dedicated sergeants, police officers, and police community support officers (PCSOs), all of whom are committed to working closely with residents, local organisations, and partner agencies. Together, we focus on addressing the issues that matter most to our communities - whether that’s tackling anti-social behaviour, supporting vulnerable individuals, or building long-term solutions to recurring problems.
