Grass strip beside pavement on south side A605
Ordnance Survey documents indicate that in 1980 a rivet benchmark levelled at 7.060m above Newlyn Datum was verified on the culvert for a ditch which then ran along the grass strip between the pavement and the wall, with the culvert located where the drain passed under the house entrance drive. Carved stone post by the A605, in parish of Orton Waterville (Peterborough District), Oundle Road, Orton Waterville, on grass verge, on South side of road. Erected by the Peterborough & Wellingborough turnpike trust in the 18th century.
