Old Milestone by Oxford Road, Wendlebury
Carved stone post by the UC road, in parish of WENDLEBURY (CHERWELL District), South end of village 30m East of sharp bend, by village Hall, in well-kept grass in grounds of village hall. Erected by the Bicester, Aynho & Finmere turnpike trust in the 18th century.
Now relocated and repainted slightly nearer to the road.
